Terms of Use & Service. Clear, transparent, and faith-centered.

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) constitute a legally binding agreement between you (“User”, “you”, or “your”) and WordConnect (“we”, “us”, “our”, or the “Platform”), founded and independently engineered by Ajay Tirkey.

By downloading, installing, accessing, or utilizing the WordConnect Android mobile application or the official website at https://wcapp.in, you signify that you have read, understood, and unreservedly agree to be bound by these Terms and our companion Privacy Policy.

If you are under 18 years of age, you represent that your parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf. If you do not agree with any provision of these Terms, you must promptly discontinue use and uninstall the application.

To protect your sanctity of prayer and personal reflection, WordConnect enforces a strict Zero Account Mandate:

• You do not need to create a profile, register an email address, or log in through social media to read the Bible, browse hymns, play kids games, or submit prayer requests.
• All bookmarks, highlighted verses, personal notes, search history, and reading preferences are saved exclusively on your local device hardware.
• Because your notes and highlights are kept on your physical device, WordConnect servers do not hold cloud copies. We recommend exercising personal stewardship in backing up your device data.
• You are solely responsible for securing physical access to your Android mobile device.

As a digital sanctuary for Christian believers, users agree to interact with WordConnect in an attitude of reverence, mutual respect, and integrity. You expressly agree that you will not:

WordConnect reserves the right to block device access or take appropriate technical and legal actions against any party violating these acceptable use provisions.

WordConnect deeply honors biblical copyright standards, public domain heritage, and ecclesiastical ownership:

• Bible Scripture: Scripture texts displayed within WordConnect are sourced from recognized public domain manuscripts (e.g., King James Version) and ecclesiastically authorized translations in regional and tribal Indian languages (Hindi, Nepali, Sadri, Santhali, Kurukh, Mizo, Kannada, Assamese, etc.). All rights remain with their respective copyright holders and Bible societies.
• 1,000+ Gospel Hymnal: Worship lyrics and choral verses are assembled for educational, devotional, and congregational praise. Where proprietary modern songs are cataloged, rights belong entirely to their original Christian authors, composers, and recording artists.
• Hinglish Transliterations: Phonetic Romanized transliterations prepared by WordConnect are protected original compilations licensed for in-app singing and fellowship use.
• WordConnect Brand: The name “WordConnect”, the logos, user interface designs, iconography, and custom code are the intellectual property of Ajay Tirkey.
• Limited Devotional License: You are granted a personal, non-exclusive, revocable, non-transferable license to use the platform strictly for personal devotion, family worship, and non-profit church ministry. You may not re-package or resell WordConnect software.

WordConnect operates a dedicated prayer intercession channel distinguished by total privacy:

While our prayer team intercedes in genuine faith, prayer submissions do not create a legal, psychiatric, or professional doctor-patient duty of care. For medical or emergency situations, always seek licensed medical attention.

WordConnect is certified compliant with the Google Play Families Policy and adheres to the highest global standards for children's digital welfare:

• 100% Ad-Free Guarantee: No commercial advertising networks, banners, interstitials, or sponsored content exist within the Kids Corner or anywhere in the app.
• Zero Minor Profiling: We collect zero personal data, device telemetry, advertising IDs, or geolocation from children.
• No Social Exposure: Children cannot send unmonitored messages, participate in open forums, or link to external social platforms.
• Curated Content: All Bible games, storybooks, and animations are curated to ensure age-appropriate, wholesome Christian moral values.

The Christian Shop module connects believers with high-quality Scripture editions, hymnals, devotional mugs, apparel, and faith accessories:

• Ordering & Shipping Data: To fulfill a physical merchandise order, you must provide accurate recipient details (name, delivery address, pin code, contact phone). This data is used solely for logistics fulfillment and carrier dispatch.
• Cash on Delivery (COD): COD is offered in supported Indian cities and postal codes. Placing a COD order represents a genuine commitment to accept and pay for the shipment upon courier arrival.
• Pricing & Taxes: All product prices are quoted in Indian Rupees (INR) and include applicable taxes unless otherwise specified during checkout.
• Returns & Defective Items: If a physical Bible or accessory arrives damaged or misprinted, notify us at connectword.official@gmail.com within 7 days of delivery for a replacement or resolution.

To provide rich spiritual utility, WordConnect interfaces with select external services:

• Google Maps API: Used exclusively for locating nearby Christian fellowships, chapels, and upcoming faith events. Your use of the mapping tool is subject to the Google Maps/Google Earth Additional Terms of Service.
• Daily Scripture Feeds: Verses are synchronized via OurManna and the wcapp.in server. These requests transmit zero personal information and query only public Scripture texts.
• External Video Teachings: Certain Christian sermons and cartoons are streamed via verified third-party content delivery platforms.

WordConnect is designed to be fully mission-ready for rural, tribal, and mountain ministries with zero connectivity:

• Once installed, your chosen Scripture translations, gospel hymns, and local reading history remain available 100% offline.
• We strive to maintain continuous availability for live sync features (Daily Verse, Shop updates, Events); however, we do not guarantee uninterrupted network uptime during server maintenance or upstream ISP outages.
• We periodically release Android app updates on Google Play to improve performance, resolve minor bugs, and introduce new regional dialects.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Subject to the conciliation principle above, the courts of India shall have jurisdiction over any legal matters.

If any provision of these Terms is deemed unlawful or unenforceable, that provision shall be severed without affecting the validity and enforceability of the remaining provisions.
